Stayed here while visiting UVA and it made the trip simple. It’s close to town, but still felt quiet, which was nice. Parking was easy too, and I’d probably book it again since... yeah, it just worked out well.

I went here for a wedding and left feeling disappointed. The place itself is really pretty, but the event felt so unorganized. The staff seemed confused, the timing was off, and half the time it felt like we had to keep asking and practically begging just to get basic answers. After a while it got frustrating, like no one really wanted to take responsibility. The food was okay, but for the price I expected a lot better. Beautiful venue, but the whole event side felt messy, stressful, and kind of resentful by the end.

I thought breakfast was really good overall. The eggs came out nice and hot, and the coffee tasted fresh, which I always appreciate. The staff seemed friendly too. I’d probably be happy to come back and eat here again.

I had a couple questions before I book and they got back to me really fast. The staff were friendly and didn’t making anything confusing, which I appreciated. Overall it was a really nice service and I’d be happy to stay again.

The room was clean when we arrived, and the bathroom looked good too. There was a little dust near the window, but nothing that bothered us. Overall, it felt well kept and was easy to relax in.

I play this course last weekend and had a really good time. The place was in nice shape, the greens rolled good, and the fairways were clean. The views also made the round feel even better. I’d definitely come back and play here again

I spent most of my time at the pool and spa, and I’m blaming myself for not leaving more time to use the gym because it looked great too. Everything felt clean, relaxing, and easy to enjoy.

I stayed one night at Boar's Head Resort and felt happy with the room right away. The bed was that perfect kind of soft where you sink in a little but don’t feel swallowed, and the pillows were surprisingly good, which always feels like a small hotel miracle to me.

The only thing that bothered me was the A/C being a little loud at night, and I did have that brief “ugh, really?” moment when I was trying to fall asleep. But I still slept well overall, woke up feeling fine, and I’d definitely stay here again

I’m 100% convinced this is a solid value for the price. It’s definitely not what I’d call cheap, but for what you get, it’s worth it.

The staff was really nice and friendly the whole time, which I appreciated. though, the waiting got frustrating after a while, even with everyone being so pleasant.

We had dinner at the resort the food was really good. Everything tasted fresh, and everyone in our group was happy with what they ordered. The staff was friendly too, though the drinks did take a bit longer than expected. Nothing worth making a fuss over, just one of those things that happens. Overall, we enjoyed it and would definitely eat there again.

The grounds were really and I did enjoy wandering around, but it definitely took more effort than I expected to see everything. Lots of walking, so wear comfortable shoes. Still a lovely place to spend some time.

Check-in was quick, and the people at the front desk were friendly without making it feel like some whole complicated process. We got our room info right away, which was nice. Then checkout in the morning took maybe two minutes. Boom, done. I was half expecting some random issue because that always seems to happen, but nope, everything went really smoothly

We stayed here mainly for the racquet sports, and I was a little unsure at first if it would be as easy and organized as we hoped. It ended up being great. The courts were clean, booking was simple, and the staff were really helpful when we needed a little guidance on times. We played tennis twice and kept saying we wished we had more time. Definitely a fun spot if you’re coming for tennis.

I booked a spa visit thinking it’d be super relaxing, but tbh it just felt rushed and kind of all over the place. The staff wasn’t exactly friendly, and the room didn’t feel as clean as I expected. For the price, I really thought it would be way better. Def won’t be going back.
